Returns

Shipment information is sent to the customer at the time of shipment, including the tracking number; shipping information can also be obtained by accessing your Tittles & Bits account, or by calling or emailing Tittles & Bits Customer Service.  In many cases we can ship to Post Office Boxes, if desired; or, if delivery location or time is a concern,  you may call the shipper, provide the tracking number, and ask the shipper to hold the delivery for you to pick up, or request delivery another day.  Customers are responsible for ensuring secure delivery locations; we are not responsible for missing or stolen tracked orders that the shipper confirms delivered.   Almost all shippers, including the USPS, now use GPS to confirm that delivery scans occur at the delivery address.  All orders reported delivered by the shipping carrier, via their tracking number and shipper scans, shall be deemed to be delivered and received by the customer.  In cases where the shipping carrier requires and receives a delivery signature or other proof of receipt upon delivery, any signature or other proof of receipt will also constitute evidence of delivery to the customer.     

 

Incorrect or Defective Merchandise:  Please notify us upon receipt and save all original packaging; if a package arrives damaged please note the package damage on any delivery receipt signed.  Take pictures of damaged packaging and content, and save all packaging.  To request an exchange, send an e-mail identifying the order number, request, reason, and pictures to CustomerService@TittlesandBits.com within two (2) calendar days of the shipper's delivery date; items reported after that time will not be exchanged or refunded.  We usually respond to all requests within one business day.  Do not ship any exchange items prior to written approval from Customer Service.  We will pay the return shipping costs for United States customers for an authorized exchange, using a preferred shipper - we will send a pre-paid label via email for a return, and ship a replacement item at no additional cost - exchanges and replacements are shipped within one business day of receipt of returned items, and an email with tracking number will be sent at the time of the exchange item shipment.  If all parts of an item are not returned in their original condition as listed above we may return the item to the sender Cash on Delivery (COD).   If you decide you do not want a replacement, you may return the item under our standard return policy, below.

 

Standard Return Policy:  You may return most items within 7 calendar days of the shipper's delivery date for a refund, as long as returned items are received by the shipper within the 7 calendar days; in original purchase condition; and returned in the original product packaging, tickets attached, and with the original packing slip.  Returns will not be accepted if we believe they have been altered in any way, including tag removal; missing or damaged packaging; have been used, worn, altered, washed, damaged, or switched in part or entirely.  If all parts of an item are not returned in their original condition as listed above we may return the item to the sender Cash on Delivery (COD) or we charge a restocking fee of $7.00.  We refund the product price paid and any taxes paid upon receipt of returns that meet the return criteria listed above; we do not refund original shipping paid or pay shipping costs for returns.  

 

We are not responsible for lost returned items and recommend you insure and track your return.   If a return was part of an order that received free shipping, and the return brings the updated order total to less than the amount that qualified for free shipping, the original flat rate shipping fee will be deducted from the amount refunded. Notify us at CustomerService@TittlesandBits.com prior to shipping that you are submitting a return for refund and provide us with the order number, name of item(s) to be returned, and the reason.  

 

Some items can't be returned, such as gift certificates, clearance items, personalized items, and items identified as non-returnable or final sale on the product information page. 

 

Incorrectly Addressed Orders and Orders Returned by Shipper:  Orders that are lost or delivered to incorrect addresses provided by the customer due to incorrect address entry by the customer are the responsibility of the customer, and we assume no liability for replacing lost items or refunding these orders.  Addresses should be double-checked when entering the order and when the order confirmation email is received - any errors need to be corrected prior to shipping to avoid added shipping cost and / or lost deliveries.  Orders that are sent to incomplete or incorrect addresses (e.g., no apartment number) provided by the customer will likely be undeliverable, and may be lost en route or delivered back to us.  If an order is returned to Tittles & Bits by a shipper as undeliverable due to an incorrect or incomplete shipping address, or refusal to accept or pick up at the given address, Tittles & Bits will resend the order upon payment of the larger amount of original actual shipping paid (which may be higher than the flat fee shipping charge), or the flat shipping fee, prior to re-shipment.  

 

Lost Orders:  If an order is lost, and the shipper can't locate it, and the shipper confirms non-delivery, we will replace the order or refund the purchase amount at the end of 15 days following shipment.

 

We will notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed returned items.  If all parts of an item are not returned we may return the item Cash on Delivery (COD).  Refunds for approved returns usually appear within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper.  This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process the refund request (5 to 10 business days).

 

If you return an item bought with a promotional discount, and you do not return all items purchased, or part of the items are not accepted as in the same condition sold, we will reimburse you for what you do return, minus the value of the discounted and rejected items.   Returns must be sent to:

Promotional Codes and Coupons:  Tittles & Bits sometimes offers promotional codes or digital coupons for special offers. To redeem, you must enter the promotional code or the promo code found on the digital coupon during checkout.  Promotional codes used on digital coupons are debited at the time an order is placed. Digital coupons will automatically be redeemed to purchase totals, up to the total purchase amount. Digital coupons must be used prior to their noted expiration date and within a single transaction.  A coupon cannot be replaced if it is lost, stolen, or deleted, or if you cancel or return your purchase.  In the event of a reduction in price below the coupon value, the excess value of the coupon will not be refunded.
