Standard delivery shipping with tracking number and signature required is free for most orders $100 and more shipped within the contiguous USA (exceptions are for heavier or oversized items such as furniture - all shipping charges are approved by the customer prior to any payment being collected or shipping). Orders delivered within the contiguous USA that are $49.99 and less have shipping added at a flat rate of $5.00 per order, and $10.00 for orders $50 or more but less than $100.00. Alaska and Hawaii orders receive standard shipping at a flat rate of $7.50 for orders less than $50, $15.00 for orders $50 or more but less than $100, $20 for orders $100 or more and less than $150, and $25 for orders $150 or more and less than $200 (exceptions are extra shipping charges for heavier or oversized items such as furniture - all shipping charges are approved by the customer prior to any payment being collected or shipping).
Most items ship within one business day. Standard Delivery time is usually 2-5 business days from the ship date in the contiguous USA. Some items may take one to two weeks to ship - we specify on the product description page the expected ship time. Ordered items will ship together. Please note that we do not normally ship on Saturdays, Sundays or holidays.
Large furniture items and other oversized or special delivery items are not available for delivery outside the contiguous USA. Shipping notifications and tracking numbers are provided for all shipments when the items is shipped, for easy tracking.
For oversized or special delivery items, additional charges will apply, and should be noted in the product description; these items are usually delivered by freight carriers, and delivery fees are included on the electronic receipt provided by this web site; if there is a mistake on the site and delivery charges were incorrectly noted, the customer must approve any changes prior to finalizing the purchase, any charges, and shippin. Additional services and charges not specified or requested for the product by this site and requested by the buyer of, and provided by, the delivery company are the sole responsibility of the buyer - e.g., unpacking, setup.
Delivery times cannot be guaranteed, as weather, shipping companies' holiday rushes, and other unforeseen occurrences could impact the delivery times. We are not responsible for late deliveries.
Incorrectly Addressed Orders and Orders Returned by Shipper: Orders that are lost or delivered to incorrect addresses provided by the customer due to incorrect address entry by the customer are the responsibility of the customer, and we assume no liability for replacing lost items or refunding these orders. Addresses should be double-checked when entering the order and when the order confirmation email is received - any errors need to be corrected prior to shipping to avoid added shipping cost and / or lost deliveries. Orders that are sent to incomplete or incorrect addresses (e.g., no apartment number) provided by the customer will likely be undeliverable, and may be lost en route or delivered back to us. If an order is returned to Tittles & Bits by a shipper as undeliverable due to an incorrect or incomplete shipping address, or refusal to accept or pick up at the given address, Tittles & Bits will resend the order upon payment of the larger amount of original actual shipping paid (which may be higher than the flat fee shipping charge), or the flat fee, prior to re-shipment. Orders returned to us as undeliverable and not reshipped, or refused by the customer and returned to us, are subject to a $15.00 restocking fee to cover added USPS costs and labor.
All orders reported delivered by the shipping carrier, via the tracking number and shipper scans, shall be deemed to be delivered and received by the customer. In cases where the shipping carrier requires and receives a delivery signature or other proof of receipt upon delivery, any signature or other proof of receipt will constitute evidence of delivery to the customer. The customer is responsible for ensuring a secure delivery location; we are not responsible for lost or stolen orders that the shipper confirms as delivered. Almost all shippers, including the USPS, now use GPS to confirm that delivery scans occur at the delivery address. If a delivery is scheduled, and you don't want the shipper to leave the package in your mailbox or on your porch, in front of your garage, or elsewhere, select a signature required shipping option; or you may call the shipper and provide the tracking number, and ask them to hold it until you can pick it up, or to deliver another day. Shippers also offer email and text alerts of tracking status changes, but if you are worried about your delivery being stolen, do not rely on these alerts as they are sometimes delayed. Some items may not be shipped outside the contiguous USA due to size or legal restrictions. Hazardous items such as perfumes, hairsprays, cleaning products, etc. can't be shipped outside the contiguous 48 states or to APO/FPO addresses.
Expedited Delivery - Two Day and Overnight
Expedited delivery is available for many items - when available it is noted on the product page. We require a minimum of one business day (Monday through Friday) to prepare an order. Orders are subject to verification and approval before shipping and may take up to 48 hours to process. The expected turnatround time for an expedited item should be two business days processing time plus the shipper's shipping time, in business days. Fed Ex two day delivery is two business days; overnight delivery is one business day (Monday through Friday, excluding holidays). Expedited orders still require a minimum of one day processing time; if longer time is required due to stock availability we will notify the customer by email. The delivery time (e.g., two days) starts the day after FedEx receives the package. For example, if an order with FedEx 2 Day shipping is received at 9:30 am on Wednesday, and the order is delivered to FedEx by end of day Thursday, FedEx will start its two day delivery period on Friday, so two days later would make delivery on Sunday; but FedEx 2 Day shipping does not include weekend delivery, so delivery is expected on Monday. If the same order was placed prior to 9 AM, and the order delivered to FedEx by end of day Wednesday, FedEx would start its two day delivery period on Thursday, so two days later would be Saturday, but FedEx 2 Day shipping doesn't include weekend delivery, so delivery should still be on Monday. If the order were placed before 9 AM on Monday, and the order delivered to FedEx on Monday, FedEx would start its two day delivery period on Tuesday, and the order is expected to be delivered on Thursday. Note that if a weekday falls on a holiday, holidays aren't counted as a business day, and the delivery time is extended. So a FedEx 2 Day delivery best case shipping time is three business days, and may be up to five business days, depending on order time vs. cutoff time, and processing time.
Expedited shipping is not available for all items - we make every attempt to label items not available for expedited shipping on the product page. If we are unable to expedite a requested order we will notify you by email or phone to confirm how you would like to proceed. Credit cards are pre-authorized at the time of purchase, but no charges are made until the item is ready for shipment.
Certain shipping methods may not be available for some products or locations.
Select large and heavy items are delivered by our freight carriers. In-Home deliveries are typically made between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. There is a 4-hour window for delivery required.
There is no additional charge for shipping to multiple addresses.
Shipping charges are calculated before any promotional discount is added based on the sales price of each item.
Shipment tracking notifications will be e-mailed once an order or partial order is ready for shipping. Additional notifications will be e-mailed as status changes.
Ordered items may be delivered separately. Some orders may require more than one package to ship. We are not responsible for any refused or abandoned items, or items returned to us without adherence to our Return Policy. If any package is refused and returned to us without our prior approval the customer is liable for the additional shipping costs before any refund or credit will be issued.
Shipping Errors and Damages
Any items that arrive damaged or with a packing error must be reported via email within seven (7) calendar days. For further information refer to Returns and Refunds.
We do not ship outside the USA and specified USA territories.
Once items have been prepared and provided to the shipper it may not be possible to cancel an order, and any shipping fees paid by the customer will not be refundable. Any requests to cancel or modify an order must be made in writing via email.
